A US Air flight plummeted to the ground outside Pittsburgh yesterday, killing all 131 people aboard in the United States' worst airline-related accident since 2005. Authorities have not yet determined what caused the flight from Chicago to crash as it prepared for landing.

I'd probably just say "worst air accident" -- easier to read. Other than that, however, this is spot on. Nice job.
